Technology Transfer Process
Technology transfer – the process of moving a discovery or innovation from the lab to the market for the public benefit – is exciting and complex. OTTC works closely with our campus research community to evaluate, protect, license and commercialize innovations so that they can have wider impact. In turn, revenue coming back to the university from these activities is shared with the creators and further supports the research enterprise. The clickable diagram below provides and overview of the key steps of this process.
